Now in its 5th generation, the Planet Eclipse Etek 5 continues the reliability, durability, and performance principles that made the Etek line one of the most sought-after markers in its class. It pushes the boundaries of what a mid-range marker should have, using quality materials and design for an unparalleled shooting experience.
The Etek5 utilizes features and ergonomics pioneered by Eclipse's high-end models. The Etek 5 uses the same architecture and form from the groundbreaking Ego LV1. An integrated LPR assembly and SL4 regulator delivers optimal consistency and keeps the extended pitch between the foregrip and grip frame for a comfortable and steady shooting platform. The dual-density full wrap grip and foregrip use Planet Eclipses latest stippled insert panels to for maximum grip and control in all conditions. The Etek 5 ergonomics ensure a marker that intuitively points and shoots in any playing stance.
Inside the Etek 5 resides Zick3 technology that features a true 2-stage acceleration. The slower initial acceleration of the bolt gently contacts the paintball, speeding up during the 2nd stage of bolt stroke to deliver insane rates of fire. The Etek5 handles brittle paint at high volume better than any model of Etek to date. The enlarged valve chamber works with the high-flow valve and soft-tip Cure5 bolt for a firing pressure of 150psi and an operating pressure of 85psi. This results in a quiet and smooth action that's more gentle on paint in the breech and barrel.
The Planet Eclipse Etek5's multi-colored LED system provides instant feedback of the marker's current status. Programming the firing modes and parameters is easily achieved through the LED via button presses and trigger pulls. The Etek 5 grip frame and board come upgrade-ready for an OLED board display screen sold separately. The OLED upgrade replaces the LEDs with a bright visual OLED screen, letting the user swiftly adjust parameters such as firing mode, dwell, breech sensor status, battery level, shot count and true rate of fire. Semi and ramping firing modes are fully programmable for compliance in any paintball league or scenario.
The Etek5 continues the platform's recent success of combining advanced lightweight and durable composite marker frames. Failure rates the grip frame rank less than 0.05% for all Etek3 & 4 models ever made, proving capable of resisting any abuse on the field, worthy of carrying the Planet Eclipse name.
